The Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) represents people who live, work, own a business, or study in Portland’s downtown, bordered by I- 405, the Willamette River, and West Burnside. The Board seeks a diverse balance of geography, age, gender, socio economic status, ethnicity and opinions in its board members. The Board has active committees in the areas of land use, homelessness/houselessness, outreach, and public safety. Meetings are governed by public meeting law. The DNA is one of 92 Portland neighborhood associations, which have a 50 year history of representing their communities with issues involving the city and other community priorities.
